Landmark deal signed

The Country Group has signed a 11.6 billion baht finance agreement for the development of a landmark Chao Phraya River waterfront property.

The deal involves Group Development Pcl and China EXIM Bank who have signed a financial framework agreement to finance the Landmark Waterfront Project, a luxury residential and hotel project located at a prestigious waterfront address on the riverside.

Beijing Construction Engineering Group, one of China’s top ten international contractors with projects in countries across the world, has emerged as the front runner to become the project’s main contractor.

Recognised as the Crown Property Bureau’s last remaining premier site on the river, the Landmark Waterfront project is one of the most highly anticipated developments in Thailand.

The project consists of two premium-branded hotels and a branded residential tower, and is scheduled for completion in 2017. The residential tower will feature 350 units.
